These are good things to keep in mind as we all start looking toward 2009 in our marketing planning.  In my opinion, #2 about how customers view your company is the most important and probably the most difficult since it requires an objective brand exploration that most marketers just don&#039;t do.  They assume the image they wish to project is the one adopted by their market but rarely is this entirely the case.

I&#039;ve recently written a report that describes 5 more marketing tactics that seems to fit in with this post about things to consider for 2009 for those who might be interested.  If it is not too presumptuous, the report can be found at:
