On May 13 in Akron at the Akron Women’s City Club, over 30 women business owners and business professionals improved their social media marketing skills at the Marketing with Social Media seminar. I presented the Social Media Marketing workshop to explain how to start and then take the next steps with this relatively new medium. To get anywhere in the online world, you are required to have a social media account. It is one of the many ways you can reach your audience and improve, and expand the customer base for your business. Luckily there are companies similar to SidesMedia that can help you to grow your social media audience.
It was a group of business professionals who are comfortable with LinkedIn, with about 2/3’s using Facebook and just less than half with a Twitter account. Some were active Twitter users, others have just put their toe in the water.
As I promised, here’s the PowerPoint and the handout I used for the “Marketing with Social Media” presentation.
