Don’t cha love the sound of a steady rain when you’ve been through a dry spell?
It’s that same feeling I get when we put together a strong “drip” marketing campaign. Not exactly water torture, but it is the constant reminder to the target market that one of our clients is doing something that can help them.
It’s a low cost method to getting new customers. And it works.
What’s your drip marketing program for your business?
I know a realtor that send me recipes every month. I haven’t seen that guy in probably 5 years, but he is still top of mind when I think of realtors. I get an email newsletter once a week from business coaches reminding me to do something… and they stay on my top of mind list.
In a world where we are bombarded with thousands and thousands of messages everyday, the friendly reminders that help me in some way stand out to me because of the connection.
